Yes, this is a play best enjoyed by those who love Broadway. It is hilarious and brilliant for those who do know about theatre. The caliber of these performers is incomprable! What talent! If only the traveling tour of Hamilton had hired these fine young actors, singers, dancers! Bravo to the Straz for bringing this witty, exuberant, urbane show yo Tampa!!

I've not seen Hamilton and I'm not familiar with very many Broadway plays. I took my daughter to see this (who is a Hamilton fanatic), and we both enjoyed it very much. Even not knowing many of the inside jokes, it was still a fun time for me, and the performers were excellent and very talented. Great evening!

Unless you have 1) seen "Hamilton", 2) have superb auditory acuity, and 3) a thorough knowledge of current and recent Broadway plays, you are going to be clueless about this play. This play only works well for Broadway insiders.
