Swedish pop songstress Snoh Aalegra hits the road again
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Shahrzad Fooladi AKA Snoh Aalegra made her debut with an appearance on Common's Hustle Harder, releasing her first-ever single Bad Things with the rapper in late 2014. The self-assured single made waves in the industry and lead to mentorship from pop culture icon Prince before his untimely death. She is a talent to be reckoned with, as well as the creation of her very own genre 'cinematic soul'.
Calling to mind the effortless chic sophistication and cool of Sade, the Snoh's smooth vocals and suave jazz instrumentals perfectly counterbalance emotive lyrics, making for anthems of triumph, consolation, and empowerment. Live, she channels the same veteran sense of calm and collection, carrying the entire show with her emotive and distinctive vocals.
