Marc Anthony is well known for many things - his good looks, his marriage to pop sensation Jennifer Lopez (aka J-Lo), and his acting career. However, his claim to fame remains his multi-award-winning career as a salsa singer. Now, the Grammy-award-winning singer is heading out on a brand new tour, kicking off this October titled 'Historia'!
Marc Anthony was born in New York City and began his music career as a session vocalist in the underground music scene there. Ironically, Anthony rejected his first offer to record a Salsa album. He changed his mindset on the genre after hearing a song by Juan Gabriel on the radio, and released his debut album in 1993. The rest, as they say, is history... or rather a very glittery history with four Grammy Awards, nine Latin Grammy Awards, and 24 Latin Billboard Music Awards to his name!

Fabulous at the Herz Arena
Absolutely fabulous show. Barely heard MA sing though because the crowds (of 8,000+) belted out every single song of his. They were electric, dancing in the aisles. but MA's voice (when I heard it) was fabulous. A really super voice. One negative was that he sang Spanish songs exclusively, not one English song, and being a non-latino I missed that. And the bling was amazing, the ladies went all out, nice to see. While the men, so many in their all-black outfits, were also a sight to see. All round - quite the experience. ... Read more
