Florida Grand Opera: The Barber of Seville

Disguises, trickery and hilarious hijinks!
Why see Florida Grand Opera: The Barber of Seville?
FIGARO! FIGARO! FIGARO!
Rossini's farcical opera receives an update in Denis Garnham's 1940's movie backlot version! The first in the trilogy starring the mischievous Count Almaviva and his wily servant Figaro (who've been revised as a nobleman and an onset makeup artist) as they take on the adventure of wooing the witty beauty Rosina (a famous screen siren). Right out from under the nose of Dr Bartolo (Agent and studio owner). With devious disguises, meddlesome mishaps, the fate of the heart of this young girl is one thrilling and hilarious ride.
This delightful ensemble production stars Young-Kwang Yoo as Figaro, Stephanie Doche as Rosina and Michele Angelini as Count Almaviva. A must see for fans of this 200-year-old masterpiece!
